For those of us that grew up picking Cycle News up at a dealer, the news of them closing their doors due to the economic downturn and the fact that news can be had hours, if not minutes, after the race on line is very very sad. I let my subscription drop a couple years ago and have missed the in depth coverage of the races. If I wanted THE FACTS I'd pick up Cycle News. No one covered racing like they did. They will be missed.

Hot Tip   Try to work Route 131 into your trip to and/or from the Show. I know for sure that from Route 3 (Belmont Corner) south to Route 1 (Thomaston) is newly paved and well worth going a bit out of your way.   My ride starts 5 miles from the museum so I'll probably go north and then back south just to get some miles in.

Hey Jerry-      So....  as it looks right now...  I think I will invade your camp sometime in the early afternoon on Saturday.  I'm playing the weather so my time is a little +-.  I hope your offer still stands.  If not, too bad, I'm coming anyway.  I'm not bringing my tent, so if you think that is unwize, let me know.  I only have so much room on that airhead.  I'm pretty sure I have directions from last year so unless you have moved you camp I'm all set.  I'll call you if I have any updates.  Thanks for the invite.  I have an empty house this weekend so it is good to be elsewhere.  See you on Saturday.                                                             DW.........
